What is the relationship between encoding and context?
The custom encoding/decoding foundation covers 100% of Encapsa platform data for AI-based lookups. The governed Context Engine extends that foundation; it is not a replacement name for the entire system. The visual distinguishes the foundation from its extension so their relationship is clear without exposing private implementation details.
The stated purpose is AI-based lookup across platform data. The 100% figure describes data coverage. It does not establish lookup accuracy, answer quality, encryption strength or a guaranteed result, and the public case study does not substitute any of those meanings for the original claim.
What is Jordan’s current engineering scope?
As Co-founder & CTO at Encapsa AI, Inc., my work includes closed-circuit LLM systems, multi-model agents and tool use, MCP, RAG and PageIndex retrieval, self-hosted vLLM inference and NLP-to-SQL. This architecture work runs alongside platform leadership and customer instruction, rather than being separated from production delivery and enablement.
The application and infrastructure stack includes Rust/Axum, Ruby on Rails, Node, React, Temporal, RunPod and Fly.io. This describes current experience and architecture work. A technology’s presence in the stack is not proof that every integration is live in every customer environment or that a planned workflow is already deployed.
Which capabilities support AI-based lookup?
The approved capability set includes RAG and PageIndex retrieval, agents and tool use, MCP integrations, multi-model orchestration and self-hosted vLLM inference. The encoding/decoding foundation and governed Context Engine are distinct parts of the data-and-context scope. The public map is illustrative, not the actual topology of every deployment.
Encapsa supports shared, single-tenant, and on-prem deployments. Those are platform options; they do not imply that every deployment is on-prem or that every request stays inside a single customer perimeter. The public diagram intentionally stays at the capability level rather than listing security-sensitive endpoints, configurations or customer data.
- Encoding/decoding foundation for platform-data lookup
- Governed Context Engine extending the foundation
- RAG and PageIndex retrieval
- Agents, tool use and self-hosted inference
What does the 100% figure establish?
It establishes the approved platform-data coverage of the encoding/decoding foundation: 100% for AI-based lookups. It does not establish retrieval accuracy, model output quality, security certification or a business-outcome percentage. Customer delivery results, such as the underwriting workflow, are documented separately and retain their own outcome definitions.
This page is an architecture and capability case study. It does not publish a retrieval benchmark or invent precision, recall, latency or evaluation scores. The underlying relationship is the evidence: encoding and decoding provide the foundation, and governed context extends it.
What does the record show?
| Measure | Record | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Platform-data coverage | 100% | Encoding/decoding for AI-based lookups; not retrieval accuracy |
| Context layer | Governed Context Engine | Extends the encoding/decoding foundation |
| Retrieval | RAG and PageIndex | Approved platform capabilities |
| Inference | Self-hosted vLLM | Alongside multi-model orchestration, agents and tool use |
| Stack | Rust/Axum, Rails, Node, React, Temporal, RunPod and Fly.io | Current application and infrastructure work |
Which skills does this project demonstrate?
- Large Language Models (LLM)Closed-circuit systems, multiple models, agents and tool use.
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)RAG and PageIndex retrieval are approved platform capabilities.
- Software ArchitectureSeparates encoding/decoding foundations from the governed Context Engine.
- Data EngineeringEncoding and decoding for AI-based lookups across platform data.
- RustRust/Axum is part of the application and infrastructure stack.
What does this case study not claim?
- 100% means platform-data coverage, not lookup accuracy or output quality.
- The Context Engine extends the encoding/decoding foundation; it is not a replacement name for the whole system.
- The capability diagram is illustrative. Not every listed technology or planned integration is asserted to run in every deployment.
